Account Inquiry

You may log into your library account at any time to make requests, check the status of your requests, cancel requests, renew items, see what items you currently have checked out, or search for items.

Receiving Your Items

Books and other physical materials

You will be notified via email to your student account to let you know that your requested items have arrived and are ready to be picked up.  ILL items will have a colorful bookband attached to distinguish them as Interlibrary Loans. Please keep the colored bookband intact so that we are able to remove the item from your account in a timely manner. Come to the MCC-Longview Library Front Desk to pick up and check out your requested items.

Due dates are set by the lending library which may be different from MCC-Longview items. Unless otherwise noted, most ILL items can be renewed once, unless needed by another patron.

Articles and book chapters

Most articles and book chapters are emailed to your student email account unless you provide a different email address. Some articles cannot be digitized and emailed, therefore, the physical copy must be picked up at the MCC-Longview circulation desk.

Journal articles are yours to keep.
