What is Interlibrary Loan?

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a free service through which you can request items that are not available in the MCC-Longview Library. Items such as books, journal articles, book chapters and other materials which normally circulate can be requested. 

We cannot request the following: Textbooks and other required course material; rare or valuable material; material in high demand; material with circulation restrictions such as reference, reserves, and genealogy; newly published material.

Who may use Interlibrary Loan?

Interlibrary Loan at MCC-Longview Library is available to current students, faculty and staff.

How do I login to my account?

You need your name and student or employee ID number.

For your campus ID, do not include the "S" or "E" before your ID number.

The MCC-Longview campus code is: MCC (all caps).                             For example: 1234567MCC.
