There are two educational programs offered:

Become a teacher and make a difference. Teachers play a big role in the intellectual and social development of children, determining future prospects of students and providing the tools and environment for students to develop into responsible adults.
As a teacher, you'll be a facilitator or coach that:
Our teacher education program leads to an Associate in Arts Teaching (AAT) degree. It includes introductory and mid-preparation courses to help you become a professional educator in pre-K-12 settings. You'll also get field experience to observe and learn in a Pre-K-12 classroom before transferring to a four-year institution. Our program meets the first two years of certification requirements for those pursuing either an early childhood, elementary or secondary education degree.
The Associate in Arts in Teaching (AAT) degree is a pre-professional degree that prepares students to transfer to a four-year college or university offering a Bachelor's degree in Teacher Education. The AAT is a state-wide approved program and when completed in its entirety meets the first 2 years certification requirements for individuals pursuing either an early childhood, elementary or secondary education degree.
Recognition: Our degree is recognized by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and transfers to almost every four-year school of education in the state.
