iPhone or Android Devices
In order to download books to your iPhone or iPad, you will need to download and install the EBSCO app. You will also need to create an account with EBSCOhost, our eBook provider. This is also free and easy to do. To get started, just download EBSCO Mobile from Google Play or the iOS App Store.
Once you download the app you will connect to EBSCO by selecting Metropolitan Community College Kansas City as your institution. This will allow you to search for materials; some of which will be eBooks.
Once you have found an eBook that you wish to download click on the "Download eBook" button at the bottom of the screen. You will be prompted to enter your EBSCOhost user I.D. and password. If you do not have an EBSCOhost user I.D., you can select "Create a New Account" and create one quickly and easily.
Once you have logged in, you are given an option on how long you would like to check out the eBook for (up to 3 weeks). After selecting the timeframe you want to check the eBook out, select the "Download eBook" and it will open on your phone screen.
