Before you begin your research you need to define your topic.

  • Who are your researching?
  • Why are they famous or well known?
  • Are they historical or contemporary?

Searching for people:
Try keyword searches for the person's name ex: Abraham Lincoln
Try subject and author searches with the person's last name first, comma first name ex: Lincoln, Abraham

Call Numbers: Biographies at Longview generally begin with the call number 92.  You will find them in the 920's.
