Library instruction. Bring your classes into the library for customized sessions on using books, databases, and websites. Book an appointment by contacting the reference librarian at 3084 or erin.niederberger@mcckc.edu. Let the librarians know what topics, sources, and skills you would like them to cover. Providing copies of any assignments students are currently working on is helpful.
Assignment design. Work with librarians to design assignments using library resources or librarian expertise. Librarians can make sure the library has resources suitable for the assignments and build in opportunities for students to practice information literacy.
