Welcome to the Pro/Con: Controversial Issue subject guide. Use this guide to find resources for research assignments that require you to examine controversial topics.
Review the following series of books from the library's collection and select a topic that you find interesting. These books can be checked out of the library:
Search for books using the search box above, or click here to access the Library's catalog.
If you have a topic in mind, do a Keyword Search. If you have a title in mind, switch the menu to Title and do a Title Search.
If the Longview Library does not have your book, click the "KC-Towers" link at the top of the page. This will look for copies of your book across all the MCC and other Kansas City area college libraries.
Get materials from libraries around the state of Missouri by clicking on the "MOBIUS" link at the top of the page. Once you find a book you want, click on the "Request" button and follow the directions--remember we are part of the KC-Towers cluster!
