The KC-Towers catalog searches MOBIUS-member libraries in the KC-metro area. This means that items come a bit quicker (they don't have to travel that far!), but they still may take a couple days.
MOBIUS is a consortium of Missouri libraries (with a few from neighboring states as well) that all share books. If you request a book via MOBIUS, they can usually get it for you in about 3-5 days.
